Hi, I'm Xiang Qi— the person behind every cake you see here. When I was expecting my first child, something shifted in me quietly, without warning. I became impossibly particular about what I ate. Not out of worry, but out of instinct. A mother's instinct. I found myself longing for something light, pure, genuinely joyful. The kind of sweetness that tasted real.
So I went looking. I searched every bakery I could find. What I discovered instead were desserts heavy with industrial sugar and artificial flavoring — optimized for shelf life, not for flavor. That clean, delicate sweetness I craved seemed to have quietly disappeared from the world.
So I decided to make it myself. For my baby. For myself. To bring back that clean, gentle flavor — the kind that only comes from real ingredients and real care.

The Philosophy
Because this began as something I made for my family, I have never been able to compromise on what goes inside. Good desserts don't need to hide behind artifice. The ingredients themselves should do the talking.

Every ingredient earns its place. Flour, eggs, fresh dairy — each chosen for quality and taste. If I wouldn't give it to my own child, it doesn't go into your cake.
