Terms of Service

Orders & Reservations

Submitting an order places a reservation request. Your order is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, and will notify you promptly if we are unable to fulfil your request.

Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of pickup. We do not collect payment online. No charge is made until you collect your order in person.

Cancellations & Changes

To cancel or make changes to your order, reply to your confirmation email at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup may result in forfeiture of the order, as your cake will have already been made. If we need to cancel your order for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Custom Orders

Custom cakes require at least 30 days' notice. Submitting a custom inquiry does not constitute a confirmed order.

Custom orders are confirmed only after written agreement on design, pricing, and pickup date via email. We reserve the right to decline designs that conflict with our creative vision or that involve copyrighted or trademarked material.

Food Safety & Allergens

Qi's Delights is a cottage food operation. Products are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD). By placing an order, you acknowledge this and accept the nature of cottage food operations under Michigan Cottage Food Law (MCL 287.700–287.717).

All cakes contain wheat (flour), eggs, and dairy (milk, butter, cream). Our kitchen is not allergen-free. Please contact us before ordering if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions — we will do our best to advise you, but we cannot guarantee the absence of any allergen.

Please refrigerate your cake upon pickup and consume within 48 hours.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Qi's Delights shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or consumption of our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page. Continued use of our ordering service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
